Michael Roach - Photographer
The ability to pay close attention to detail is necessary when one creates art. An eye for this detail is what led Michael Roach into the world of photography. Making the move from traditional tools to tools that are modern and digital has proven to be frustrating for many. It can also be refreshing, offering a new perspective and leading to avenue of expression.
Michael Roach has researched the things that may make existing images expressive, well-planned, emotional, and deliberately beautiful. None of these things are one-dimensional. An image can be all of these things. In learning the nuances of the digital camera, he has realized that so many factors play a role in the intention or message of the camera's output.
Michael found that the following subjects became the focal point of his lens such as: architecture, business and industry, family, commerce, night-life, urban decay, and our nation's city streets. He has made a shift from capturing practical images to stating a creative expression.
